Born in France in 1994, Maël Hénaff is now based in London. Brought up in the French Alps and with a Chinese-French heritage, Maël has always wanted to investigate technology through the cultural, ethical and moral lenses.

He is a designer, filmmaker and musician, currently lecturing at the MA Material Futures, Central Saint Martins. Maël worked for various studios such as Superflux and UP Projects

His research has been exhibited at the Design Museum London, Tate Exchange Tate Modern, Milan Design Week, and Dubai Design Week. It explores speculative scenarios where technologies are hacked and democratised in order to start a real discussion on how we should use technology to benefit our communities.
